Jefferson Boyce, BOD

Lead Independent Trustee and Vice-Chair of the USAA Mutual Funds Trust

Mr. Boyce is a retired senior managing director from the New York Life Investment Management LLC (NYLIM). Over his 37-year career in the financial services industry, Mr. Boyce has managed investment management companies across fixed income, domestic and international equities, asset allocation and
hedge fund asset classes.

He also had responsibility for leading the MainStay mutual fund company, the New York Life broker/dealer companies and the New York Life retirement businesses. Mr. Boyce joined
the USAA Funds board in 2013 after his retirement and has chaired the Investments
Committee before being appointed as lead trustee.

Mr. Boyce received a B.B.A in Finance from Baruch College, completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School and received a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from the New York Theological Seminary.

Mr. Boyce sits on the board of and is Lead Independent Trustee and Vice-chair of the USAA Mutual Funds Trust. He also sits on the boards of Westhab Inc, the New York Theological Seminary and the Independent Directors Council (IDC). He is Chair of the United Methodist Church’s NYAC Pension and Health Benefits Board.

He resides in White Plains, New York with his wife Lisa and three children.
